Our Franchisees

As franchisors we are committed to best practice; to doing it right. All of us have been franchisees ourselves, we’ve been where you are right now, so we know what it’s like! We remember the concerns, the steps on the journey to success and the feeling of contentment on achieving our respective goals.

Have a read through our franchisee case studies to get a greater understanding to what is involved in running your own Access4Lofts franchise…

Hear from Dale, one of the most recent franchisees to join us, about his journey and experiences so far:

“I’m really excited about this new chapter in my life and can’t wait to get stuck in to growing what I know will be a fantastic business.”

Richard Burns

Access4Lofts Liverpool South

Richard Burns joined the Access4Lofts family in September 2020.
Although he originally trained and worked as a joiner in his early career, he had spent the last 10 years working in logistics, spending the 9-5 in front of a computer.

As a franchisor, we receive enquiries from people via lots of different sources, but the one that makes us most happy is when an existing franchisee recommends us to a friend or family member, and this is exactly how we came to meet Richard.

Having a young family (his son is now 1 years old), Richard wanted to have the flexibility of managing his own time and getting a good work life balance whilst growing a business, so when his best friend shared how well his own Access4Lofts business was going, Richard was keen to get a piece of the action.

John Ioneasa

Access4Lofts Tunbridge Wells

Previous Job: Delivery Driver
Joined Access4Lofts in January 2021

John started his career as an apprentice on various types of construction sites where he gained valuable experience and learnt the skills to handle almost any job in the building trade.

However, He felt he should try his hand in other industries and, after a brief time working in an office and then as a delivery driver, he realised that his passion really lay within the building industry “I love working with my hands and getting job satisfaction from doing a good days work. Plus, I like how appreciative clients are when they see the final result” he says.

Having always wanted to run his own business he started to search for a franchise and came across Access4Lofts. After doing some due diligence, John got in touch with Access4Lofts and the rest as they say is history.

“From the minute I made the call everything was simple and transparent. I could really identify with how founders Tim and Lindsay started the business and their dream to grow it from the ground up,” says John.

We asked John for his feedback on the training course and he told us it was a “breath of fresh air to have so much support and assistance with all aspects of the business”.

They say that if you love what you do for a living, you’ll never work a day in your life and we think that’s exactly how John feels!

“It’s a breath of fresh air to have so much support and assistance with all aspects of the business”

“It’s reassuring to know that by following their proven system, you’ll be a success!”

Billy Makepeace

Access4Lofts Eastbourne

Previous Job: Mechanical Engineer
Joined Access4Lofts in January 2021

Billy has a HND in mechanical engineering and spent 10 years in the plastic injection moulding industry. He finished off managing a factory with 10 machines before emigrating from South Africa to the UK.

The next 19 years saw him employed in the construction industry as a quantity surveyor working on major projects like Heathrow Terminal 5, London Olympic Park, numerous Heathrow refurbishment projects and large residential projects in London.

So, why did Billy decide to join Access4Lofts? “I’ve always wanted to run my own business, but I seriously lack sales and marketing skills. A franchisor would normally have done a lot of the ground work required to get a business up and running, so it is a no brainer.”

Billy heard about Access4Lofts through a friend and spent a few days with an existing franchisee to really understand the trade “I was confident I could do the practical work and was impressed that Access4Lofts provided so much assistance with all aspects of the business.”

Billy had this to say about our training course:

“Access4Lofts have taken most of the ‘ground work’ out of setting up and running a business and provided a business opportunity you can just run with.

“All the systems implemented by the franchisor have been developed with the intention of minimising the administration tasks for the new business owner. They have achieved this objective very effectively. It’s reassuring to know that by following their proven system, you’ll be a success!”

Finally we asked Billy what he would say to anyone considering investing in an Access4Lofts franchise – his answer was simple “just do it, you won’t regret it.”
